  Mary is wonderful host and good, long time friend of Kaffe Magnum Opus, KMO Coffee.  We are proud to be associated with Blue Crab Coffee Company.  Mary just finished getting the town of St. Michaels to approve an ordinance allowing her to use an illuminated Open sign.  Be thankful we don't have to deal with that all over.  It took perseverance to do this.   

The Store.    You can see the store from the main street in St. Martins and Blue Crab is located just behind the Acme food store, good for the sale of whole bean.

Jane working on the building.    This picture is worth twenty thousand words.  Jane is working hard at changing the side of their building.  Owning a coffee store takes blood, sweat and tears, from time to time, and this speaks for itself.  Nice work Jane.

St. Michaels is a highly seasonal town on the Chesapeake bay.   The competition is fierce with a new coffee bar, St. Michaels Perk opening on Memorial Day Mary and Jane have had to come up new strategies to maintain their healthy business.  The moral of this story is 'action in the face of adversity'.
