Java Junction

What a surprise I had running into Steve Frazzetta, born in brooklyn and raised on Long Island.  He came south after that.  I have the same background but headed north to Poughkeepsie, NY after college.

Steve is the owner of Java Junction, a large kiosk in the J.C. Penny and Becks Mall in what is obviously the biggest shopping districk in New Bern.  Six to eight lanes of traffic, and today it was bustling from 11 am to around 2:30.

This is Steve from a distance and surrounded by syrups.  .  He has some interesting stories about Starbucks.

This is a better picture of Steve.  He is naturally friendly and makes conversation easily.   He has quite a lot of experience in the baking industry and one point sold cinnamon buns to Sams Clubs.  He told a story of delivering what he thought would be a five day supply to Sams.  Two hours latter they called for more.  Sam's was incredulous that he did not have them on the shelf.  Steve made them to order.  Its truly funny the way he relates it.  Sam's got the buns the next day, late in the day.  And Steve sold a lot of buns to them for a long time.
