Muddy Waters, Coffee Break

Its homes are historic

This is a beautiful Southern home right next to Muddy Waters Coffee House.  It is beautiful and I can imagine sitting and sipping an iced tea in the middle of summer.  Maybe with Forrest Gump.

We rode in on the old Business 17 which does not do justice the City.  The historic downtown is very nice.

At first we planned to camp, but for the first time, the local shop was closed and nearest was nearly 20 miles out of town and in the real swamp.  So we turned around and I'm writing this on my new computer in my Hampton Inn room, 103 with a view of the pool.  Cathy is sleeping in the motor home because Ruby gets lonely and from time to time has had bad reactions to being alone in a strange place.  I'll go out shortly, but first

a long hot shower.

And Cotten is still Important

While on Sassafras Road in farm country we saw lots of Cotton Fields.  "When I was a little bitty baby my mama would rock me in a cradle, in them old cotton fields back home".
